If experiencing an unbelievable adrenaline rush while taking in some of the world's most beautiful scenery sounds cool to you….you may want to go hang gliding! You will drift over 1700 feet above famous beaches and mountains around Rio and have an awesome time. All tours are conducted by an experienced and certified master. No prior experience is required.
What to Bring : Comfortable shoes (no flip flops), shorts, camera, and a few R$ for beverages.
Duration:
2 hrs. Approx. 15-25 minutes in the air.
Includes: Hang Gliding, transportation to and from apartment/hotel, registration and park entry fee.
White Water Rafting (minimum 5 people)

This is an amazing full day tour that will take about 10 hours from start to finish. We pick you up at approx. 8am and drive to the Minas Gerais border. Our first stop is at 10am for breakfast. Once full of energy, we will travel to the Paraibuna River and begin our 3 hour attack on the river. At times the river is playful and relaxing enabling one to snap some memorable photos, at others, it will have you holding your breath and clinging to the raft. The rafting is lead by professional, qualified guides, and all necessary safety equipment, including life vests and helmets are provided.
What to Bring : Bathing suit, suntan lotion, camera (preferably waterproof), extra t-shirt.
Duration:
10 hours.
Includes: Transportation, breakfast, lunch and all equipment necessary for rafting.

Hiking to Sugarloaf Mountain (minimum 3 people)

Sugar Loaf (Pão de Açúcar) is arguably the most famous landmark in Rio and all of Brazil. This huge slab of granite rock rises 396 metres above the Guanabara Bay and provides excellent views of Rio and the surrounding areas.Instead of riding the cable car with the other tourists, here is your chance to hike and rock climb to the top. The trek starts off with an easy 30 minute walk along a pedestrian pathway with great views overlooking praia vermelha. We then hike and scramble up the side of the mountain enjoying great views of the bay. Before reaching the top we will rock climb a 25-30 metre section, which is then followed by more hiking.

City Tour with Sugar Loaf Mountain (minmum 1 person)

Departing from the hotel, the tour heads for the center of the city, to view some outstanding spots, including the modern Cathedral and the Lapa Arches. The tour proceeds to Urca picturesque neighborhood, to take a cable car the top of Urca Hill (224m), and then a second one to the top of the famous Pão de Açucar-Sugar Loaf (395m). Round-trip tickets for both cable cars are included. From the moutain top, visitors have one hour time to enjoy the magnificent view over the centerof Rio , and Copacabana Beach.

Corcovado (Christ statue) & Tijuca Forest

After picking you up at your hotel, the tour will continue to the Cosme Velho station to catch the cog train (tickets are inlcuded) for a journey through the dense Atlantic Rain Forest of Tijuca, to the Christ Statue on Corcovado mountain.
The guide has between 40 and 60 minutes to show the won de rful sights of Rio before the return journey by train to the coach. The tour continues to São Conrado and Pepino Beach where the handgliders land and, by noon, the passengers are returned to their respective hotels.

Soccer Game at Maracana Stadium

You don't need to be a soccer/football fanatic to enjoy a game at Maracana. This is the largest soccer stadium in the world that was built for the 1950 World Cup. Upon its completion it held over 200,000 cheering, dancing, and singing fans. It has since been modified and can hold 120,000.
What to Bring : R$ for any desired food, beverages and souvenirs.
