Iguazu Package
Looking out over the Iguacu Falls is an awe-inspiring experience that will take your breath away. The natural wonders of the falls and the wildlife of the surrounding jungle is one of the most incredible views you'll ever see.
Nestled between the Argentinean and Brazilian borders (and a stone's throw from Paraguay), the Iguazú Falls joins the elite of the world's most spectacular waterfalls. It is much larger than Niagra Falls (taller & twice as wide) and falls second to South Africa's Victoria Falls although Iguazu is wider.
The falls divide the river into the upper and lower Iguazu.
The waterfall system consists of 275 falls along 2.7 kilometres (1.67 miles) of the Iguazu River.
Some of the individual falls are up to 269 ft in height, though the majority are about 210 ft. The Devil's Throat, a 490 by 2300 ft. cliff, is the most impressive of all, and marks the border between Argentina and Brazil.
As far as which view is better,
The Argentine side has the best and most varied up-close views of Iguazu Falls while the Brazilian side has the spectacular panoramic view. TGW's advice: You must see both.
When to Go: Year-round (the summer months, December to February, are busy and more expensive).
Access Points: Foz do Iguaçu in the Brazilian state of Paraná , and Puerto Iguazú in the Argentine province of Misiones.
Other Sites Worth Checking Out: Iguazú National Park (Argentina) and Iguaçu National Park (Brazil). These parks were designated UNESCO World Heritage Sites
Requirments: To visit the Brazilian side of Iguazu, you will need to have a Brazilian Visa. If you are coming from Buenos Aires and do not have a Visa, we can provide you with the hotel and tours on the Argentine side.
