TGW Travel Group started out as an idea between two MBA students 8 years ago. After a brutal mid-term, they were discussing their travel experiences over a couple of beers. Both were avid travelers in their mid 20s and saw an opportunity to create a company that provides the traveler with a no-hassle, fun, local experience. It is very easy to book a flight and hotel online, but once you get to a certain destination, you are either lost, have to rely on an outdated travel book or are taken to tourist traps by locals working on commission. The TGW Concept is to provide travelers with a “local” experience as if you were visiting a friend in that destination.  TGW not only makes sure you visit the destination’s must-see daily attractions, but also takes care of you at night and provides you with a local contact you can call for any emergency or question. With this idea, the duo entered a Global Business Plan Competition with over a 100 participants from around the world and won!

What started out as just an idea has grown into one of the most innovative companies in the travel industry. There is no other company in the industry that combines travel & entertainment in so many destinations. With offices in Miami, FL and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, TGW has expanded its offerings to include Argentina, Colombia, Uruguay, Peru, Spain, Greece & Germany and is constantly scouring the globe to add on more “Bucket-List” destinations.  The TGW philosophy is to show each one of our clients a “Vacation of a Lifetime!”
