Sample Itinerary:
* Keep in mind that the itinerary below is a sample. The exact order of your itinerary will depend on the city you are departing from.
Day 1: Arrive in Manaus
TGW will have someone outside baggage claim to take you to your Hotel in Manaus. Day/Night at Leisure.
Day 2: Amazon
Pick-up at 08h30 for a full day tour to the Meeting of the Waters with lunch. Optional canoe ride(*) with an opportunity for Piranha Fishing. Arrival at the Amazon Eco-park Jungle Lodge by 17h30 . Check Check-in/ welcome drink after which guests will be shown to the room. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 3: Amazon
Breakfast followed by a Nature Hike. Lunch. After a short rest, visit to the home of local Amazonian residents (“natives”) with an opportunity for fishing . Dinner and evening tour by canoe for Alligator Spotting. Overnight at lodge.
Day 4: Amazon - Salvador
Breakfast, visit to the Jungle Monkey , check-out at 11h30 and transfer to Manaus Airport for your flight to Salvador. Arrive in Salvador in the evening where your guide will await you outside baggage claim and escort you to your hotel. Night at Leisure.
Day 5: Salvador
After Breakfast, Your guide will pick you up in the morning for your full day Salvador Tour. The first half of the tour will include a historical tour of Salvador (includes the Barra Lighthouse, Teatro and Bale de Castro Alves, & Pelourinho) followed by lunch. The second half of the tour is a panoramic view of the city and will include the Orixás sculptures, Fonte Nova stadium, Nosso Senhor do Bonfirm, Forte de Mont Serrat, and the Lacerda Elevator. Night at Leisure (TGW will provide nightlife or restaurant recommendations.)
Day 6: Salvador
Day at Leisure. You can either visit one of Salvador’s many beaches, relax at your hotel or choose the following optional excursions: Praia do Forte Full Day Tour or an Island Schooner Tour. At 7:30pm, your driver will pick you up at your hotel and take you to a night of magic, mystery and fun is all displayed through an authentic folkloric show.
Day 7: Salvador – Iguazu Falls
Transfer to the Salvador airport to catch your afternoon flight, which will have a brief connection in Sao Paulo. Arrive in Iguazu in the early evening where you will be greeted at the airport by your driver and taken to your hotel. Night at Leisure.
Day 8: Iguazu Falls
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up in the morning for your full day tour of Iguazu Falls. First, you will be taken on a 3-hour tour of the Brazilian side of the falls by an English-speaking guide. During the walk, there is an impressive view of the Devil's Throat from a bridge. At the end of your tour an elevator will take you up to the top of the falls. After your tour of the Brazilian side, there will be a break for lunch. Then on to see the Argentinian side of the Iguassu Falls (4-hour tour). You will be taken across the border into Argentina, into the Parque National del Iguazu, 40 km away from the Brazilian border. Once in Argentina, you will go on a walking tour of the falls. The views are magnificent, especially the one right on top of the Devil's Throat. (The entire tour takes about 8 hours).
Day 9: Iguazu Falls – Rio de Janeiro
Transfer to Iguazu Falls Airport in the afternoon. Arrive in Rio de Janeiro in the late afternoon. A guide will be waiting outside baggage claim and take you to your hotel. Night at Leisure. TGW Staff will recommend restaurants or nightlife options.
Day 10: Rio de Janeiro
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up at your hotel in the morning for your full day city tour, which covers the main attractions of Rio de Janeiro: Corcovado Mountain and the Statue of Christ the Redeemer, Sugar Loaf Mountain and its cable car ride, Maracanã Football Stadium, the Brazilian Football Temple and the Sambadrome, where the schools of Samba parade every year in the Carnival at Rio de Janeiro. The tour will typically end at around 5 or 6pm. Rest 3 – 4 hours and have dinner. Your VIP Host will pick you up at your hotel at 11pm and take you to one of Rio’s best nightspots. Keep in mind that our VIP Service is customized to what you like, so if you are not a big partier, the guide will take you to a more relaxed place for instance a nice lounge with live music.
Day 11: Rio de Janeiro
Day at leisure to chill on the beach or enjoy one of our optional activities such as a Full Day Tour to Angra dos Reis, Buzios or Hang Gliding. At 11pm, your VIP Host will pick you up at your hotel and take you to one of Rio’s best nightlife spots.
Day 12: Rio de Janeiro
Day at leisure to chill on the beach, shop or enjoy one of our optional activities. Night at Leisure. You can choose to go use our VIP Services again, go to a Soccer Game or a Rio By Night Samba Show with Dinner.
Day 13: Rio de Janeiro – Home
You will be picked up about 3 ½ Hours before your flight and taken to the Rio de Janeiro Airport.
