About Buenos Aires
With a population of 13 million people, Buenos Aires is Latin America's third largest city and is one of the world's most cosmopolitan cities. Buenos Aires blends arts, fashion, sports, and nightlife to achieve the perfect combination of sophistication and fun. The city has also been described as the "Paris" of South America for its European style and architecture.
It seems hard to find another city in Latin America with so much passion and excitement. Largely because Buenos Aires is amazingly still undiscovered by most tourists, you will quickly be embraced by locals (porteños) happy to meet foreigners. With high standards of living, very low crime rates, and an underdeveloped tourism crowd, our clients have found Buenos Aires an ideal spot for a Vacation of a Lifetime!

| Nightlife in Buenos Aires |
|
Buenos Aires is the party capital of South America. It's a city that never sleeps. Argentine locals start out the night at 10/11 PM for dinner, so do not expect to find restaurants bustling at the traditional dinner hour of 7/8 PM. While some pubs open as early as 6pm, serious clubbing doesn't start before 2am, and frequently goes on until 6, 7am, or later. At the moment, electronic music dominates the nightlife scene, but Hip-Hop is starting to make a small push. Buenos Aires's hottest clubs are all over the city and away from the tourist areas. Tours Gone Wild gives you VIP access to Buenos Aires's hottest clubs. To find out more about Buenos Aires Clubs and Parties. Click Here.

| European Flavor |
| |
| Argentina, in fact, is home to more descendants of Italy than of South America and includes large colonies of eastern Europeans, plus British, French and Germans immigrants. Italian and German names outnumber Spanish, and the lifestyle and architecture are markedly more European than any other city in South America. From the Teatro Colon to the abundance of cafes serving up espresso, Buenos AIres definitely gives you European Flavor. |

Dollar Goes A Long Way |
| |
Unlike Europe, where the US Dollar has become weak, Argentina is very inexpensive. Imagine ordering one of the most succulent steaks you've ever had in your life with a couple of tasty sides, a bottle of wine, and a delicious dessert. The waiter brings you the bill and it's ONLY $45 pesos ($15 US Dollars!!!). Not only is the food inexpensive, but Buenos Aires is also known for its shopping. From world-class leather products to tailor-made suits, prices are half as much as the US making Buenos Aires a shopper's paradise.

Diversity within Buenos Aires |
| |
Buenos Aires has 48 barrios (neighborhoods) -- each with its own character and history. Many residents have lived in the same barrio for generations and feel more of an affinity to their neighborhood than to the city as a whole. Below you will see a small description of some of the most popular barrios in Buenos Aires:
- La Recoleta - offers abundant restaurants, bars, pubs and shops
- San Telmo - with colonial mansions, plenty of cafes and antique shops - the outdoor antique flea market is a favorite Sunday activity
- La Boca - the picturesque old port district with growing number of sidewalk cafes and the Caminito, the little pedestrian street used as a theater and art market
- Puerto Madero - dock area which has been rejuvenated, with the warehouses being turned into restaurants and bars.
- Palermo - Palermo SoHo and Palermo Hollywood are the two "cool" neighborhoods where much of the dining scene of Buenos Aires is developing.
