Ariau Amazon Towers Hotel is located 35 miles from Manuas (2-hour Boat Ride), at the confluence of the Rio Negro and Ariau Creek. Built entirely at the level of the Rainforest Canopy, Ariau's towers are linked together by 4 miles of sturdy wooden catwalks.

Package Details (Activities): (Fully Customizable)
1st. Day - 8am - Immediate Departure to Ariaú Towers – 2 hours by boat ride, Reception with welcome regional fruit drink, Accommodation. Tour around the hotel: after check-in, the guide will take guests for a walk around the hotel facilities. Then in motorized canoes, guests will have the chance to see the area around hotel, visit some lakes, streams and tributaries (during the dry season, which is from October to March, some parts cannot be reached). The jungle guide will take guests to a house of families (Indian Natives)which live by the river. In this place, it is possible to visit the place where the manioc flour is made. Some regional foods, like the TAPIOCA and the BRAZILIAN NUTS are offered to the guests..Meals Included: lunch and dinner.
2 nd. Day - Jungle Walk: the jungle guide will take the guests to a non-flooded area where it is possible to walk for about one hour. Some jungle peculiarities, such as medicinal plants, different kinds of trees, some eatable insects, etc., will be shown and explained by the guide. Tourists will have the opportunity to see several types of vines, the rubber tree, the SAMAUMEIRA (one of the highest trees in the Amazon), etc. Then go Piranha fishing: fishing made with some rustic equipment (made with bamboo) and meat as bait.
Caiman Spotting in the evening. Meals Incl.: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
3 rd. Day - Sun Rise tour: excursion at 5 o' clock in the morning, in which tourist is taken by motorized canoe to some areas of excellent view of sunrise.. Meals Included: breakfast. Depart lodge at 8am to return to Manaus, Transfer to the Airport or hotel.

Meals:
For breakfast: fresh fruits of the season (watermelon, papaya, banana etc), variety of regional fruits juices (taperebá, cupuaçu, açai, graviola etc.), breads, cookies, white and yellow cheese, ham, cakes, French toast, pancakes, jams, butter, coffee, milk, hot chocolate and tea. Eggs (scrambled, fried, omelets) are prepared upon request.
Lunch and Dinner: buffet style, with various options of beef, chicken or fish ( tambaqui, tucunaré, pirarucu , pacu etc), warm side dishes (white rice, potatoes (baked, fried or boiled), vegetables, salads (lettuce, carrots, broccoli, tomato etc.), fresh fruits of the season (papaya, pineapple, mango, watermelon etc) and various desserts (cupcake pie with Brazil nuts, ravioli cream, cupcake or passion fruit pudding, banana and meringue dessert, chocolate cake, fruit desserts etc. (special diet meals available upon request - extra charge will apply) |
